Leoma Man Reports Wallet Stolen Inside Store
A Leoma man reported to authorities Monday that his wallet was stolen after he had been distracted inside a Lawrenceburg store.
The victim reported to Lawrenceburg Police Officers that he had been making a purchase at the sporting goods counter inside Walmart, 2130 North Locust Avenue, when the theft occurred.
He said that, “Someone waved him away from the counter to tell him something.” When he turned back, he said his wallet had been taken.
Investigation into the crime is currently continuing through the police department’s Criminal Investigation and Walmart’s Theft Control Divisions.
